Accessibility statement
Home of Hammam wants everyone to be able to browse and buy from our shop. This statement was prepared on 25 October 2026.
Our commitment
We are working towards meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA on homeofhammam.com. That means making the site usable with a keyboard and with screen readers, keeping text readable and clear, and describing images so that nobody misses what they show.
Where we are today
We have not yet completed a full accessibility audit, so we cannot say the site meets WCAG 2.1 AA in full. We know there are things to fix, and we are working through them:
- Image descriptions. Many product images did not have a text description. We are adding them across the shop.
- Third party features. Reviews, pop ups and product recommendations are provided by other companies, and we are checking how well they work with screen readers and keyboards.
- Older content. Some older pages were written before we set these standards, and we are updating them.
Tell us about a problem
If something on the site is hard for you to use, or you would like information in a different format, please email hello@homeofhammam.co.uk with the page address and a short description of the problem. We will do our best to fix it or offer you another way to get what you need, for example by helping with your order by email.
