About our evil eye robes

The evil eye is the print Home of Hammam is known for, and this collection brings every eye robe together in one place. Each one is a relaxed kimono style robe that works as a dressing gown at home and as a cover up by the pool or on the beach. Colours run from white with blue and black eyes to navy with gold, black with white, and soft pink.

Fabric and print

Every robe is 100% organic cotton, cut from soft Turkish towel cotton so it is absorbent as well as light. The eyes are printed by hand by artisans in Denizli, Türkiye, so placement varies a little from robe to robe and no two are quite the same.

Fit and size

Most styles come in two fits. Fits to UK18 suits roughly UK 6 to 18, and UK20+ suits UK 20 and over. You can choose a full length robe or a shorter mini, and the length is shown on each product page.

Care, delivery and returns

Wash at 30°C or below with non bio detergent and hang dry. The print settles to its lasting colour after a couple of washes. Tracked delivery to the UK, Europe, the UAE and worldwide, with full delivery details on each product page. You can return an unworn, unwashed robe in its original packaging within 14 days of delivery.

Is an evil eye robe a dressing gown or a cover up?
Both. The soft cotton towel weave is comfortable as a dressing gown after a bath or shower, and light enough to wear over swimwear on holiday.
What does the evil eye mean?
The evil eye, or nazar, is a symbol found across Türkiye and the wider region. It is traditionally seen as a charm that protects against envy and bad luck.
